The Institute proposes to fill up 1(One) No. Research Associate & 1(One) No. JRF under the DBT funded Project Entitled “First generation linkage map in Labeo rohita (rohu): A Potential genomic resource for identification of trait associated genes” and 1(One) No. Junior Research Fellow & 1(One) No. Project Assistant under the DBT funded Project Entitled “Carp seed production in mobile hatchery and rearing for livelihood development of SC/ST communities in selected districts of Orissa” through Walk-in-Interview. Position: Research Associate(1)
Qualification: Ph.D in Molecular Genetics/Biotechnology /life Sciences or at least 4 years of research experience in molecular genetics after Master degree

Qualification: M.Sc in Biotechnology or Masters in Fisheries Science/Zoology/Life Science with specialization in Biotechnology. Six months to one year research experience in molecular biology.

Salary for RA: Rs.16, 000/- +15% HRA P.M.
Salary For JRF: Rs.12,000/- +15% HRA per month for 1st &2nd year and Rs.14,000/- + HRA for 3rd year
Salary for PA: Rs.8000
Age Limit for RA: Below 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on the date of interview. Relaxation will be applicable to the SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates as per rule.
Age limit for JRF's(Project I): Below 30 years for men and 35 years for women as on the date of interview. Relaxation will be applicable to the SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates as per rule.

Venue for Interview: CIFA, Kausalyaganga, Bhubaneswar. Candidates are requested to report by 1000 Hrs. for verification etc.
