Bose Institute: The institute has evolved over the years into a multi-disciplinary research organization with stress on fundamental research in its pursuit of advancement of knowledge in Science and technology and at the same time developing highly competent and able scientific manpower for the country.
Walk-in-Interview will be held for the post of Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow (Extended) in the DBT sponsored Project entitled. Interested candidates can apply.
Post : Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow (Extended)
Project Title: “Identification of effect or genes/proteins implicated in resistance for yellow mosaic disease through genomic and proteomic approach”.
Project head: Prof. Amita Pal and Prof. K. P. Das at the PMCG Section
Salary: For Research Associate on an Associateship of Rs.16,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and for SRF (Extended) on a Fellowship of Rs. 15,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA.
Date of interview: 28/05/2009 at 11.30 a.m. in the Seminar Room of the PMCG Section at the Centenary Campus of Bose Institute.
Age : Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only)
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Botany, Life Science or in Chemistry with research experience in Plant Molecular Biology / Plant viruses / Proteomics disciplines.
Those who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis in the above mentioned disciplines may be considered for the SRF (Extended) position for one year only and on obtaining the Ph.D. degree and satisfactory progress in work will be upgraded as Research Associate.
