Research Assistant & JRF Posts at RGCB | M.Sc Jobs
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Research Assistant and JRf in following Programs/Projects:
* Biology of Vibrio Cholera
* Metagenomics
* Varicose Veins of the Lower Limbs
* Cloning, expression and functional characterization of a cyclin-like protein (CLP-1) from human germ cells
Qualification required:
JRF: M. Sc in Life Sciences with at least 60% marks.
Research Assistant: Ph.D in any branch of Biological Sciences. Hands-on experience in RT-PCR, RACE, gene cloning and protein expression will be desirable.
AGE: Below 35 years
Emoluments: Ranges from Rs. 8,000/- to 18,000/- Per month
Duration: Two years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
Suitably qualified candidates may send applications on plain paper with a photograph, a copy of full resume and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the Director, RGCB on or before May 31st, 2009. The envelopes and application must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, the advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be coterminus with end of the project.
In the event of more than 10 candidates being short listed, a written test will be done before the selection interview. Selected candidates will be called for an interview on the same day.
