Job Description

• The incumbent will be responsible for Execution of projects in proteomics for the AVESTHAGENOME project within set deadlines.
• Generate SOPs for projects involved in proteomics.
• Update on technology and protocols in area of proteomics as needed.
• Training of personnel as per good laboratory practices (GLP) for proteomics and other laboratory techniques as needed.
• Trouble-shoot technical problems.
• Responsible for keeping up-to-date and detailed record of all work executed.
• Responsible for any other works that may be assigned from time to time.
• Interface the proteomics platform with other platforms in Avesthagen.
• Apply for research grants to Foundations, institutes with a view to collaborate in areas of mutual interest with AVESTHAGENOME project.
• Responsible for advance discovery research and identifying & developing new technologies in areas of mutual interest with Avesthagen.
• Responsible for writing in areas of expertise, research grants and business plans in areas of mutual interest with Avesthagen.
• Responsible for keeping abreast of with latest developments, new inventions, domain knowledge, and technology in the field of biotechnology and molecular medicine.

Desired Profile

• The incumbent should be PhD with 3-5 yrs of experience in MALDI/TOI.
• Knowhow of DIGE technique
