Date :- 11th May 2009 between 09.00 and 12.00 Hrs.
Senior Research Fellow - One Vacancy
Essential : M.Sc.(Life Sciences), Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Masters degree holders with two years research experience.
Desirable : Experience in immunology/Molecular biology/ Animal experiments
Age : Not exceeding 35 years.
Job Requirements: To conduct serology / Molecular / Immunologic assays.
Consolidated salary: Rs.14000/- p.m. Plus HRA as admissible.
II) Title of the project : “Post licensure efficacy of a single dose of live attenuated SA 14-14-2 vaccine against Japanese encephalitis in India”.

1)Technical Officer - One Vacancy
Essential : Post Graduate with five years experience or Graduate with eight years or DMLT with ten years experience in Life / Biological Sciences.
Desirable : Experience in diagnostic virology molecular biology and virus handling will be preferred.
Age : Not exceeding 35 years.
Job Requirements: Responsible for managing various serological and molecular biology tests. Sound knowledge of molecular biology tests including handling of viruses and animal cell culture would also be required. Person would also be responsible for Quality assurance of the tests.
Consolidated salary: Rs.12805/- p.m.

2) Research Assistant -Two Vacancies
Essential : Post Graduate degree in Life / Biological Sciences.
Desirable : Laboratory experience in Virology, Tissue Culture and /or Molecular Biology.
Age : Below 28 Years.
Job Requirements :Research Assistant (Serology ): Responsible for planning and carrying out various serological tests. A sound knowledge of trouble shooting in serological tests including handling of virusesand animal cell culture is required.
Research Assistant (Molecular biology ) :Responsible for planning and carrying out various molecular biology based tests. A sound knowledge of trouble shooting in molecular biology based tests including handling of viruses and animal cell culture is required.
Consolidated salary : Rs.9850/-p.m. ( fixed )

3)Technician -Two Vacancies
Essential : B. Sc. in Life Science or HSC Science with DMLT or High School with five years Laboratory experience.
Desirable : Experience in Research Laboratory.

Job Requirements : Technician (Laboratory) : Required to assist in various serology and molecular biology based diagnostic tests, collections and cataloging of samples collected, on day to day basis. Knowledge of media, reagents preparations and maintaining of cell cultures is desired.
