Applications are invited for two temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow for a period of three months in a project entitled “Structural bioinformatics for effective and efficient drug discovery” sponsored by DBT, GOI within “Indo-Finland Bilateral Cooperation” in computational biology related to drug development, under Dr. C.Gopi Mohan, Centre for Pharmacoinformatics, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Punjab.
Post: Junior Research Fellow
Salary: Rs. 12,000/-p.m. (+HRA if applicable)
Qualifications: Post graduate degree in Bioinformatics/ Pharmacoinformatics/ Chemistry. Final semester students may also apply.
Desirable: Good experience in molecular modeling software and competent in programming C++, JAVA, Perl.
Upper Age Limit: 28 years (relaxation for SC/ST/PH as per GOI rules)
The above positions are purely contractual in nature and none of the post holds right to permanency. Eligible applicants are invited for a walk-in-interview on 08.07.2009 from 10 am till 12 pm in the Conference Room, Secretariat Block, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar along with their application (addressed to the Director, NIPER, S.A.S.
