JRF vacancy at BHU: Assesment of Soil Health

Applications are invited for a Temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on contractual basis at the fixed emoluments of Rs.12000+HRA @15% per month funded by G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora,Uttarakhand project entitled “Assessment of soil health using bio-indicators in Central Himalayas” sanctioned for two years. The post is purely temporary and coterminous with the project.

Qualifications: The candidate should be M.Sc.(Ag.) in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry with specialization in Soil Microbiology or M.Sc. in Microbiology /Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology with 55% marks or NET/GATE and age not exceeding 28 years as on last date of application. A relaxation of 5 years of upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/Physically handicapped/ female candidates. Candidates with experience of research in the area of the project or related field and having knowledge of computer application will be preferred. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

No TA/DA will be paid, if called for interview.
