Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow is a premier R&D Institute under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) which is an autonomous body under Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India. The institute is engaged in development of new drugs for
controlling major disease of national relevance and systematically explore the Indian flora and fauna for therapeutic potential and to develop human resource for future requirement of the pharmaceutical industry

and R&D institutions . Applications on the prescribed forms are invited from the eligible persons of Indian nationality for the following scientific and technical posts :

Scientist Gr. IV(1) : 09 posts

Post Code 010 : For Microbiology (01 Post) : Essential Qualifications : Ist Class M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/ Microbiology with 3 years research experience OR Ph.D with one year research
experience.

Desirable : Experience in immunology, bacterial and viral diseases supported by publications in high impact
journals.
