Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), is a constituent R&D establishment of

the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The institute is engaged in

research in many different areas of modern biological sciences and microbe-related

biotechnology, with special emphasis on research that is interdisciplinary and of a

collaborative nature, such as immunity and infectious diseases, protein design and

engineering, fermentation science, microbial physiology & genetics, yeast biology,

bioinformatics, microbial systematics, exploitation of microbial diversity for bioactives and enzymes for biotransformations etc.

The Institute invites applications from outstanding candidates to fill up ninteen
available positions of Scientists, at the following levels:

Post No.1 – Scientist-EI Gr. IV(3) - (09 Posts - Unreserved) *(Scale :Rs.12,000-375-16,500 - TE: Rs.30,000/- p.m. approx.) Age: not exceeding 40 Yrs Essential Qualifications: Ph.D with 4 years postdoctoral experience; OR M.Tech. with 5-years experience; OR 1st Class M.Sc. with 7 years research experience. Post No.2 – Scientist-C Gr. IV(2) - (07 Posts - Unreserved)

Age: Not exceeding 35 yrs

 

Qualification:
Ph.D with 1-years postdoctoral experience; OR
M.Tech with 2-years experience; OR
1st Class M.Sc with 3-years research experience.
