Current Openings at NIPGR

National Institute for Plant Genome Research, New Delhi is an Autonomous Research Institution of the GOI, Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, to pursue research on various aspects of plant genomics.

NIPGR invites applications from Indian Citizens for filling up the vacant posts of the  Staff Scientists as detailed below. The posts are temporary but likely to continue.

Remuneration: The length of experience and scientific accomplishments/quality of scientific productivity record will be major factors in deciding the level of appointment as Staff Scientist (equivalent to University positions of Lecturer or Assistant Professor upwards) as well as starting salary in the pay scales of Rs. 8,000-13,500, Rs. 10,000-15,200, Rs. 12,000-16,500, Rs. 14,300-18,300 and Rs. 16,400-20,000 plus usual allowances admissible to the Central Government employees.
