Openings for JRF in Breast cancer at University of Madras

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following Temporary Positions
to work on a research project ATF-3: A POTENTIAL TARGET GENE FOR
BREAST CANCER INVASION AND METASTASIS funded by the Susan G. Komen
Breast Cancer Foundation, Texas, USA for a period of up to April 30th 2009.

Fellowship(Rs. per month):12, 000 + HRA

Qualifications:

i) A first class post graduate degree in Life Sciences (Animal Sciences, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Human Genetics)

ii) Experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and animal handling is preferred.

Application should be accompanied with supporting documents for qualification and
experience and testimonials/reference letter from two persons (one should be from the
head of the department/institution where the candidate studied last).
