Walk in interview for project assistant , IIIM, Jammu
The Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, wishes to recruit Project Assistants at Level-II & III on temporary basis to work in various sponsored/networked/contract projects in this Institute and a panel of the selected candidates will be prepared.
1.Project Assistant Level-III
Essential Qualification: 1st class M.Sc/BE or equivalent in the area of Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Molecular Biology/Natural Product Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Synthetic Chemistry/Organic Chemistry, with at least 2 years experience after M. Sc/BE etc.
Desirable: Practical Experience in relevant areas using modern techniques with proven record and sound knowledge of subject.
2. Project Assistant Level-II
Essential Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc/BE or equivalent in Biological/Chemical Sciences and sound knowledge of the subject.
Desirable: Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above.
Stipend:
For Level – II- Rs. 12,000/- (fixed) per month
Fo For Level –III- Rs. 14,000/- (fixed) per moth
Age limit : For Level – II & III 28 & 32 years as on 31.08.2009
The engagement as a Project Assistant in the projects is purely on temporary basis maximum for the period of duration of the project. However, appointment will initially be offered for a period of one year and it may be extended yearly basis till the duration of the project depending on the satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions may please Walk-in-interview on 31st August and 1st September 2009 at 10.00 A. M. (Sharp)in the Committee Room of this Institute along with complete bio-data and Original certificates together with latest passport size photograph and also enclosing photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualification etc. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
Note: Result awaited candidates are not eligible for interview.
