Name of the Project: “Mechanism in crops in relation to abiotic stress, sink strength and their interaction”.

Name the Post(s): Senior Research Fellow

Qualifications: M.Sc Botany/Plant Physiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology

Desirable: Knowledge in biochemical and molecular techniques

Emoluments: per month Rs.12000/- +HRA

Note: Walk in interview for the above positions would be held on 18th August, 2009 at Room No. 221 of Dr.(Mrs) R.K. Chopra, National Fellow, Water Technology Centre, IARI, New Delhi-110012. Candidates may appear for walk-in-interview alongwith bio-data, reprints of publications, thesis, reports etc., passport size attested photos, original and attested photocopies of all certificates, marksheets, degrees and testimonials. Candidates should bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, reprints of publications if any and No Objection and experience certificate from the current employer in case he/she is in employment
The Duration of the project is up to 31st  December, 2009 and is likely to be extended further.

Terms and Conditions:
1.    Maximum age limit: For SRF 35 years for men (40 years for Women, SC & ST and 38 years for OBC)

2.    The above positions are purely contractual, co-terminous with the project / scheme, and offered initially for a period of one year and further extendable based on satisfactory performance for the remaining period of the project. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption either in this institute or ICAR.

3.    No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
