Name of Post: Assistant professor
Qualification: PhD in Bioinformatics, Post-Doctoral experience of 2 years, with minimum five publications in peer reviewed journals.
Desirable: Candidate is skilled in software / database development and computational resources optimization.
The candidate will become part of a vibrant group having support from DBT as distributed information sub-centre (DISC) and access to high compute resources for doing research work. The candidate will also undertake some teaching activity for post graduate students.
Fresh PhD can be considered for RA / Teaching Assistant position.
