WALK IN INTERVIEW

Application are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of seven senior Research Fellows(SL.No1 to 4) under NAIP project entitled �Effect of abiotic stresses on the natural enemies of crop pests : Trichpgramma, Chrysoperla, Trichoderma and Pseudomonas , and mechanism of tolerance to these stresses�(upto March 2012),(SL.NO.5) NETWORK Project on Insect Biosystematics(upto March2012) and (SI.NO.6,7)Intellectual property Management and Transfer/commercialization of Agricultural Technology Scheme(2008-12) on purely temporary basis.

Qualifications:

Post 1.and Post 5. M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Entomogy/MSc Ag.Entomology. Experience in insect systematics/working with natural enemies sepecially parasitoids & a predator is desirable,

Post 2.M.Sc Ag.Plant Pathology/M.Sc in Life science with specialization in plant diseases management.Experience in working with biochemical and molecular aspects with special reference to Trichoderma is desirable.

Post 3.M.Sc in Microbiology/M.Sc Ag.Microbiology .Experience in working with antagonistic bacteria is desirable.

Post 4.M.Sc in Biotechnology/M.Sc Ag.Biotechnology .Experience in working with natural enemies especially parasitoids and predators and working knowledge on PCR,RAPD,RFLP,SDS,Page etc,

Post 6.MSc in Entomology/zoology with knowledge in intellectual property rights,

Post 7. M.Sc in Microbiology or Biological sciences with knowledge in Intellectual Property Rights. Experience in IPR issues desirable for posts 6 and 7.

Pay: Rs 12,000/-pm (consolidation) for first two years and Rs 14,000 pm from third year onwards+HRA (30%) as applicable. The incumbent will not be eligible for any other allowances
Age: Below 35 years for males and 40 years for females (relaxable for SC/ST/OB Candidates as per rules)

The Walk in interviews shall be held at 10.30hrs on 01/09/08 at Project Directorate of biological Control, POST BAG NO.2491.H.A.FARM POST, HEBBAL, BELLARY ROAD, and BANGLORE-560 024 Karnataka. An advance copy may be send to principal Investigator at the above address.
