Walkin Interview at National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources for SRF and RA

 National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources and National Institute of Animal genetics were set up on 21st September, 1984. These institutes were Regional Station of National Dairy Research Institute, Bangalore. Bureau and institute were temporarily housed in NDRI Campus and shifted to its own campus at Makrampur, Karnal in 1994. The institute at Animal Genetics and Bureau were merged in 1995 to function as a single unit as National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources.

WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A walk in interview is proposed to be held at National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources, Karnal – 132001 (Haryana) to select RA/SRFs as per the schedule and details given below

1.Senior Research Fellow

• Essential: M.Sc. (Bioinformatics)
  Desirable: Having work experience in the area of molecular biology techniques.

• Date of Interview: 25.08.2008

2. Research Associate

• Essential:Ph.D./M.Sc./M.V.Sc.(Biotechnology/Molecular Biology)
  Desirable: Experience in Molecular Biology experiments – rDNA techniques, RNA handling, cell culture, gene expression analysis, functional gene characterization etc.

• date of Interview:  27.08.2008

3. Senior Research Fellow Essential:M.Sc./M.V.Sc. (Biotechnology/Animal Genetics & Breeding/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics) Desirable: Experience in rDNA techniques, bioinformatics, handling of software, data analysis. date of Interview: 27.08.2008

4. Senior Research Fellow

• Essential: M.Sc.(Biotechnology/Molecularv Biology/ Biochemistry) M.V.Sc. (Animal Biotechnology/Pathology/Microbiology.)
  Desirable: Experience in molecular bilogy experiments- rDNA techniques, RNA handling, cell culture, microbiology, tissue collection/biopsy etc.

• Date of Interview: 27.08.2008

Name of the projects: Positions at Sr.1 DBT Project; 2 to 4 NAIP Projects
The appointments are purely temporary and on contractual basis and will be liable for termination at any point of time in case of unsatisfactory performance and there will be no provision of absorption/ re-employment/ regular employment in NBAGR after termination of the time bound projects.

Terms and Conditions
1. Age Limit as on 1.1.2008: 18-35 years for men and 18-40 years for women. Relaxable 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
2. There is no need to send the application in advance. The candidate should bring application alongwith pass port size photo and other attested Certificates at the time of interview.
3. The applicants must bring with them the original documents along with experience certificate(s) if any at the time of interview.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. The Director decisions will be final and binding in all respects.
