 Clonegen Biotechnology focuses on marketing molecular biology-related products, antibodies, and providing pharmacology services to academia and industries. Clonegen Biotechnology also organizes workshops and short courses in biotechnology, molecular biology, and bio-informatics worldwide. In addition, Clonegen provides consultancy and expert services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries that include designing and performing experiments to gather preclinical data for drug development.
Clonegen Biotech is partnering with an Ann Arbor-based company, Gene Expressions, in developing marketable molecular biology kits and reagents. In the area of drug development, Clonegen Biotech is in close contact with biotech companies, and currently engaged in talks with Pharmaceutical companies to support their pre-clinical development needs.
Clonegen Biotech has designed DNA-based method for molecular diagnostic services for detecting diseases, food contamination, paternity, and detecting gene polymorphism associated with the susceptibility to cardiovascular and other diseases.
In order to expand the business, Clonegen Biotech recently moved to the bay area in San Francisco, CA. Clonegen Biotech has its subsidiary in Noida, India to market diagnostic kits for diabetes, provide other services like blood cholesterol profiles, and marketing molecular biology-related products .
