Project vacancy at Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education

A walk-in-interview for selection of candidates for award of Junior Research Fellowship / Project Assistant under the following research projects will be held at the Institute of Forest productivity (IFP), Ranchi on 5th August, 2008. Interested and eligible candidates are requested to report for interview at IFP, Ranchi on 5th
August, 2008 at 9.30 A.M.

Junior Research Fellowship:

No. of Posts: 3

Fellowship(Rs. per month):8,000/- + HRA

Essential:
First Class Master Degree in Botany/Forestry/
Agriculture with specialization in Genetics &
Plant Breeding/ Ecology/ Physiology
Desirable:
1. Preference will be given to CSIR NET
qualified candidates.
2. Knowledge of computer applications and
procedures of statistical analysis.
3. Experience of working in research
institution in the field of tree
improvement/clonal forestry.

Age: Maximum 28 years on the 1st day of August,2008 (relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST).
The award of fellowship will be governed by the Rules for JRF/SRF/RA of ICFRE, Dehradun. The award of fellowship will be purely temporary, contractual, time bound and co-terminus with the project. The awardee will not be allowed to quit during the study / project period.

Candidates appearing for interview should bring with them duly signed bio-data alongwith a recent passport size photograph and attested copies of all certificates and relevant documents in respect of SC/ST, age, educational qualification & experience.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
