14 SRF/Research Associate posts vacant at NDRI, Karnal | PG's & PhD's can attend the interview
The walk-in-interview for the positions of RA/SRF in various projects will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against each position on contractual basis. The eligible candidates are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview for the position of RA/SRF at NDRI, Karnal, as per schedule indicated against each.

Qualification: ./M. Tech. in Dairy Technology/Food Technology /Dairy Engineering/Dairy /Dairy Chemistry & Nutrition/
Desirable: Experience in product development, nutritional analysis and other food analytical techniques. Operational knowledge of pilot scale dairy and food processing equipments. Possess effective Communication skill & knowledge of extension activities. Knowledge of statistical software like. MS-Excel, SYSTAT. Prolificacy in use of computer applications.
Position: Research Associate
Essential: Ph.D or ./M. Tech. with two years of experience in Dairy Technology/Food Technology /Dairy Engineering /Dairy /Dairy Chemistry/ Dairying & Food Engineering.
Desirable: Experience of using analytical like Texture Analyzer, Viscometer, HPLC etc. and pilot scale dairy and food processing equipments.

Qualification: /M.V.Sc/ in / / / /Genetics. Biochemical Engineering/ or allied disciplines.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having a minimum of one year research experience in the area of probiotics along with hands on knowledge of routine techniques in / Genetic Engineering/Microbial Genetics. Ability to use software will be an added preferential consideration. Preference will also be given to those having qualified NET ( /UGC/ICAR/ARS).

Qualification: Essential: Ph.D degree in Animal Genetics/Animal / Animal /Life sciences; Or Masters Degree in Animal Genetics/ Animal /Animal / with two years research experience as Research Associate/ /Junior research fellow.
Desirable: Experience of working in / cell culture and gene expression studies.

Essential: Ph.D or 1st class ./M.V.Sc./M.Tach in or Modern life sciences with two years research experience.
Desirable: The candidate should have research experience preferably in one or more of the following areas: mRNA isolation, cDNA preparation, Real-Time , Gene expression analysis, Microarray, Functional genomics, or related areas.

Qualification: Degree in Dairy/food /Agricultural /General /life or allied disciples.
Desirable: Working experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety Aspect of Microbial & Nonmicrobial Contaminants in Dairy products. Knowledge about computer application in statistical analysis of research data and their interpretation.

Qualification: Ph.D or Degree in Dairy /Food / Agricultural / /General / or allied disciples with two year research experience as evidenced from fellowship/associate ship/training ship/or published papers in standard journals.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates have experience in the filed of biosensor, analyzing milk & milk products and food samples for microbiological quality parameters preferably familiar with food analysis for drugs, aflatoxins and hygiene indicator organisms etc. Good knowledge of statistics/software optimization, proficiency in computer application particularly in use of MS office.

Age Limit : 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview; 40 years for Men and 45 years for women in case of RA on the date of Interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules) The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled in on Contractual basis. The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with the Project/Scheme. Interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview on the dates as indicated against each project/scheme alongwith original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each their certificates with passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. All eligible candidates are requested to be present atleast 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.
