Applications are invited for admission to M.Sc. (2 years) Environmental Science (SS) Degree Programmes offered in the University Department of Anna University Chennai, Chennai 25 for the academic year 2009-2010
DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME: 4 Semesters (2 Academic years)
Eligibility criteria:B.Sc. (Environmental Science / Environmental Management / Micro Biology / Botany / Zoology / Biology / Bio-Chemistry / Chemistry / Plant Biology and Plant Bio Technology).

(i) In Person: From the Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600025, on payment by Demand Draft for Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate)
(ii) By Downloading from the Website: The Application Form and Information Booklet
can also be downloaded from the Link given below. The filled in Application should be sent along with documents and D.D. for Rs.600/- towards registration fee.

Pattern of Examination:
The question paper will contain 100 questions. The question paper will have objective
type questions. Each question will be followed by four alternative answers. The
candidate has to choose the correct answer and shade the appropriate box against the
question in the answer sheet with pencil. While evaluating the Entrance
Examination answers, 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and 1/4
mark is deducted for every wrong answer. However, no deduction will be made
for questions left unanswered. Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and
1/4 mark will be deducted.
