The Allahabad Agricultural Institute - Deemed University is a Christian Minority Educational Institute within the meaning of Article 30 (1) of the Constitution of India. 50% seats shall be reserved for the candidates of the Christian Community and the remaining 50% shall be allotted to general candidates strictly by merit
· PROSPECTUS AND APPLICATION FORM : Manual and On line Application Form
o A common Application Form shall be applicable for all academic programmes irrespective of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, B.Ed. B.P.Ed, M. Ed and Diploma for admission through Entrance Test or Direct Interview (excluding Ph.D).
§ The Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained by sending a crossed bank draft for Rs. 800.00 or $30.00 in favour of the Registrar, Allahabad Agricultural Institute- Deemed University, Allahabad by registered post.

§ The Prospectus and Application Forms will be available on cash payment of Rs. 750.00 from the Registrar’s office on any working day i.e. from Monday to Friday (09:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.).

I. The candidates can also choose to apply through On-line Application Form available on the University website (Link is given Below)
ii. Last date for applying On-line Form is the May 30, 2009 without any late fee but the Bank Draft of Rs. 1200/-along-with a photograph must reach the Registrar’s Office positively by
June 5, 2009.

Eligibility for PG Courses:
§ Candidates having passed their Bachelor's Degree in the final examination in the concerned field under 10+2+4 or 10+2+3 as per their Qualifying Examination with at least 55% marks in aggregate (or 5.50 CGPA/OGPA) for general candidate and 50% marks is aggregate (or 5.0 CGPA/OGPA) for SC/ST/Physically handicapped are eligible for admission to Postgraduate Programmes.
The candidates appearing in Bachelor's Degree Examination in 2009 are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission and appear in the Entrance Test.
