Introduction
The Third International Symposium on Translational Research focuses on the mechanism of cell signaling in the cancer cells and identifying novel targets for cancer treatment.The symposium will include talks by leading scientists in the field as well as contributed poster prsentation and small talks selected from the submitted abstracts.

Objectives
Until 1971, only treatment available for cancer was either chemotherapeutic agents or radiation. Since then entire human genome has been sequenced and found to consist of around 30, 000 genes. The genome of various cancers has also been sequenced. This has revealed dysregulation of around 300-500 genes in any given cancer.
The current conference is organized to explore the mechanism of cell signaling in cancer cells and to further examine novel targets for cancer treatment.
