National Symposium & Workshop on Recent Trends/Emerging Techniques in Biophysics | Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi
The Indian Biophysical Society (IBS) and Banaras Hindu University(BHU) will jointly be organizing a 3-day National Level Symposium titled " Recent Trends in Biophysics" which will be followed a workshop on "Emerging techniques in Biophysics".The present symposium is an event in the sequence of symposia sponsered by the IBS and organized in different places in the country.All important aspects of Biophysics shall be discussed in the symposium which include:
- Structure and function of proteins, nucleic acid and other biomolecules.
- Applications of X-ray crystallography,NMR, Fluorescence and others.
- Protein folding and dynamics
- DNA dynamics,denaturation, damage and repair
- Molecular mechanism of mutation and cancer
- Drug designing and diganostics
- Nano techniques and devices related to biological systems
- Radiation biophysics and Photobiophysics
- Other recent developments in Biophysics.
Abstracts of papers of all categories should be submitted as an email attachment in the following format (a digital passport size photo should be uploaded near the name):
