VIT University in colloboration with C.B.S.T., SBCN, ISMR and PSI is organizing an international symposium on “Gene to Vial concept for biotechnology based healthcare molecules” at VIT University, Vellore from 7 to 10 February 2010.This shall be an exciting conference for all those intrested in Biotechnology based Healthcare products.

Major Themes of the Conference

• Expression of biomolecules and high-value therapeutic molecules.
• Large scale production and process validation.
• Purification of Biomolecules. [Scale-up and Scale-down processes]
• Biomolecule characterization, validation and proteomics.
• Nanobiotechnology and its applications in drug formulation.

Abstracts for oral-communication and poster presentation are invited from Scientists,post-doctoral fellows, and PhD students from Universities, Colleges (both National and International) and Industrial participants.This symposium will consist of plenary lectures by Eminent scientists, short presentations and poster session. Abstracts are invited in the above mentioned themes and other topics relevant to the themes for both oral communication and poster presentation.

The Society of Bio-Chromatography and Nanoseparations (SBCN), which is the European Network of Bioseparation will be organizing the International Bioseparation Contest for Young Scientists in Protein Purification, during the international symposium.PhD students and young Post-Doctoral candidates (within 2 years after PhD) who present their results at this symposium will be considered for this award.
