National seminar on Marine Biotechnology is being organised by the Centre for Development of Marine Biotechnology, School of Marine Sciences, CUSAT,Cochin, during 25-27 March 2010 at the School of Marine Sciences . The seminar will cover the latest developments and applications of marine biotechnology and its implications to the management of marine environments

Objective
The main objective of the seminar is to initiate and stimulate comprehensive discussions on current developments in Marine Biotechnology and hence to provide a common platform for the researcher and scientist to discuss and interchange their ideas for the development of the country and also for the scientific community.

All selected articles will be published in the seminar proceedings . Best works will be recommended for other publications in the area.
The extended abstracts may be submitted before 20th February 2010

Abstracts will be subjected to a blind peer review by the technical committee. Acceptance will be notified by 28th February 2010 by email
