The department of Physics, Post-Graduate College of Science, Saifabad, Osmania University, Hyderabad is organizing an International Conference on “Recent Trends in Nano & Bio-Sciences” during February 24-26, 2010.

Nanoscience is an emerging interdisciplinary science which integrates Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Materials Engineering, Earth Science and Computer Science. The International conference covers a wide range of topics in Nano and Bio-sciences. The scope of this program is to gain fundamental understanding on current trends in interdisciplinary area of nano and bio- sciences. The need for nano materials in bio-sciences for drug delivery systems, magnetic cell separation, cancer treatment, etc. is ever increasing. There is a flourishing interest in nanoscience and its applications in Hi-tech areas such as super capacitors, spintronics and magnetic imaging.

Call for Abstracts
The proposed International Conference on “Recent Trends in Nano & Bio-Sciences” is intended for university teachers, scientists, research scholars and students. Abstract(s) of not more than 150 words containing the title, name of the author(s), name of the institution and brief description about research work, typed in double space in word format should reach the Convener by e-mail on or before 15-2-2010.
