Director Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu invites applications for walk-in interview from motivated candidates, for Ph.D. Programme of the institute. IIIM(J) is a constituent laboratory of CSIR and a multi-disciplinary institute with modern state of the art research facilities, experienced faculty with particular interests in the new drug discovery from the natural products, pharmacology, biology & biotechnology. The applicants may be placed in any of the specialized areas mentioned below.

- Pharmacology
- Bio-organic Chemistry
- Bioinformatics
- Medicinal & Aromatic Plants
Date & Time of Walk-In- Interview:- 19th & 20th June 2009 from 9.00 A. M. onwards
Venue:- Committee Room, IIIM, Jammu.
Eligibility and Selection: Candidates with masters or equivalent degree in any of the branches of science (Chemistry, Life Sciences, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Physiology or in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering), who are qualified to receive Junior Research Fellowship after passing CSIR/UGC NET, DBT JRF Examination (A category) are eligible to be interviewed. No TA/DA or any other expenses shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
Age limit: 28 years (age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules).
Accommodation: Successful candidates will be provided hostel accommodation in the campus during their Ph. D. tenure.
