Alagappa University invites Applications for M.Sc/PG - Diploma Courses in Biotech | Scholarship: Rs.5000/- PM
Applications are invited for admission to the following Post Graduate /P.G. Diploma /Graduate programs offered in the University Departments under various schools for 2010-11
Programmes: M.Sc Biotechnology, Bioinformatics,Bio-electronics & Bio Sensors, Marine Biology, Animal Health & Management, Nano Science & Technology, Marine Microbial Technology and Post M.Sc. Advance Diploma in Molecular Diagnotics (one year – Studentship Rs.5,000/-PM)

A first class M.Sc., Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology OR Genomic sciences), Agriculture/ Veterinary Sciences/Fisheries Sciences, Pharmacy or M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Life Sciences or equivalent (Minimum marks for SC/ST candidates is 50%. Studentship Rs.5,000/- per month given. |

Application for the Programs, given below, is invited from the intending learners. Applications can be obtained from the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi - 630 003 on payment of the cost of the application, as applicable, through a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.300/- drawn in favour of, ‘The Registrar, Alagappa University, payable at Karaikudi’.For SC/ST candidates Rs.. 150/ - on production of attested Community Certificate copy)
Application and Prospectus can be obtained from the undersigned on requisition along with a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favor of THE REGISTRAR, ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY Payable at KARAIKUDI by enclosing a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 25/-) envelope of size 35 X 10 cm. Application can also be downloaded from the website www.alagappauniversity.ac.in. Downloaded-filled in application should be accompanied by a DD for the specified amount of application cost of mentioned above. Candidates appearing for the Final year/semester examination can also apply. However, admission requires successful completion of the program and is based on final marks as applicable. M.Sc Biotechnology: Entrance Examination / Group Discussion & Interview with qualifying Degree
PG ADMD: Entrance Examination only- Studentship Rs.5000/-PM is provided
All Other Degrees: Selection is on the basis of Marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
